No. New World Solutions can install hardwired, wireless, or hybrid home security systems to meet your needs.

New World Solutions can reprogram and upgrade your existing system, as long as you or the previous homeowner is not contractually obligated with another alarm monitoring company. SWITCH today!

Some insurance companies may provide up to a 20% discount on your homeowner insurance by having a security and or a fire alarm system. Please check with your insurance company for more information.

When we activate your security system, you will be monitored 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with our award-wining NEW WORLD protection

When one of your alarm’s sensors are triggered by an event such as a break-in or environmental hazard, your alarm signals are transmitted to our Monitoring Center. A highly trained Monitoring Center Representative will activate emergency procedures, which includes contacting you and dispatching emergency services.

Our Monitoring Center keeps a continuous record of every signal we have receive from your alarm system. If you would us like to review any alarm activity, including time and type of signal and what action was taken please call us on: 1.888.938.8253 or contact us.

The monthly alarm bill only covers the monitoring services. Anything that requires maintenance, relocation of equipment, repair service or install requires a labor charge along with any additional parts costs.

Please make sure your chime bell is turned on from your keypad. For Honeywell systems, you can enter your code plus 9 to turn it or off.  Contact us if you still need any help.

Please make sure to use your alarm code to turn off the alarm every time your alarm system goes off and then enter it again to reset the system. If you only enter your code once it will not necessarily reset the system. As best practice, please make sure to enter the code twice and then you will be able to arm your system again.

Every NWS alarm system complies with the ANSI / SIA CP-01 standard that says that every alarm system should be installed with a 30 second delay before a signal is transmitted to the monitoring center to help reduce false alarms. Therefore, you will only be contacted should an alarm sound for 30 seconds or more.

If your alarm system has sounded for 30 seconds or more, please call our monitoring center at: 1.888.938.8253 to report the false alarm. When speaking to an Alarm Monitoring Center Representative, you will need to provide them with your personal ID# or passcode.

45:5A-29(a); SUBCHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

13:31A-1.1 PURPOSE AND SCOPE
a) The rules in this chapter implement the provisions of P.L. 1997, c.305, amending and
supplementing the provisions of P.L. 1962, c.162, N.J.S.A. 45:5A-1 et seq., The Electrical
Contractors Licensing Act, which created the Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith
Advisory Committee under the Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 45:5A-23 et seq.

b) Except as set forth in (c) below, this chapter shall apply to the following:

1) All applicants seeking licensure to engage in burglar alarm or fire alarm businesses as
defined in N.J.A.C. 13:31A-1.2;
2) All applicants seeking licensure to engage in locksmithing services as defined in N.J.A.C.
13:31A-1.2;
3) Licensees engaged in the burglar alarm or fire alarm business or in the provision of
locksmithing services in the State of New Jersey;
4) Persons who monitor burglar alarms and/or fire alarms and who, as part of the response
to an alarm signal, send an agent to the premises to investigate the alarm signal or to
reset the alarm system; and
5) Persons who send agents, in response to an alarm signal, to investigate the alarm signal
or to reset the alarm system, after they have been notified by an alarm business or by a
company that monitors the alarm, unless such persons are licensed by the State Police
pursuant to the Private Detective Act set forth in N.J.S.A. 45:19-8 et seq.

c) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to:
1) Telephone utilities and cable television companies regulated by the Board of Public
Utilities pursuant to N.J.S.A. 48:5A-1 et seq. and 48:17-8 et seq., and employees of such
companies while performing the duties of their employment, as set forth in N.J.S.A.
45:5A-29(a);


CHANGING MY PHONE SERVICE

Your alarm needs a way to communicate with our monitoring center. If you’re thinking about switching, please call us at: 1.888.938.8253 to discuss your options. We want you to be fully informed before you make the switch.

We recommend you test your system quarterly or after you make any changes, like renovations or switching phone providers. Call 1.888.938-8253 and let the Operator know you want to run a test.

The Operator will ask you for:

  • Your name
  • The name on the account
  • Your ID# or passcode
  • The length of time you want your system to be in “test” mode.

New World Solutions offers flexible move options to fit our customers’ needs.

Find the option that works best for you:

  • Transfer your service to your new home.
  • Arrange for the incoming home owner to take over your current system and contract.
  • Transfer your contract to someone else. (See below.)
  • Cancel your contract by paying off a negotiated portion of your remaining balance.
